I paired this unit with an EcoPlus 633 submersible/inline pump and am using it to drive my canister filter and chiller at the same time. It is working perfectly. it hit 80 degrees F outside today and this chiller has kept my aquarium at 68 degrees F without making much of an effort. The original Ecoplus 1/4 HP chiller was great, Much quieter and cooled a lot faster than the new model. The new model 1/4 HP is noisy and takes forever to cool my 100 gallon tank. **Q: I need chiller to use it for shower water, could I use this chiller for that? If not, do you know any chiller could used for shower water?** A: Not sure why you would want or need to chill shower water. You can't put this inline with a high pressure plumbing system. But you could use this to chill water by pumping from a warm water container into a cold water container. **Q: I received my EcoPlus water chiller 1/10 hp. I unpacked it and noticed a strong odor and liquid inside. is that normal?** A: In our case I Don't saw this liquid or a strong odor. **Q: We have a 1/3 hp Flotec sump pump, will it work with the chiller?** A: The chiller needs 260-660 gph pumped thru it.
