It was easy to install, is cut perfect for an iPhone 8 Plus and the OtterBox Defender series case snapped shut with no problem. I did remove the plastic cover first. **Q: Is the screen responsive** A: The Otterbox Defenders that say "retail packaging" comes from China, and the screen protector is NOT responsive. That's the one I got. My husband got the kind that came in "frustration-free packaging" and it IS responsive. So beware which one you buy! **Q: Is this the updated one for the iPhone 8 Plus?** A: Better and cheaper than Otterbox iPhone 7 Plus/8 Plus case, here it is, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MTMNEC7 **Q: I already have a scree protector on my phone. Can the screen protector piece be removed before putting the case on?** A: I’ve done this twice with this case. It’s a project and has to be done slowly and I used a small exacto knife to cut the screen protector out so the parts that are glued are left intact.
