It’s cheaply made.  The handle broke off because it gets jammed when you are trying to shave the ice cubes .  I had to get rid of it as it broke . :(

It works great, but the kids don't have the strength to consistently turn the crank enough.  My only real gripe is that I wish it was either wider or taller to accomodate bowls or cups.
