But, I was pleasantly surprised at how "normal" these pancakes taste. I used non-fat milk and the cooked up quite nicely (still were fluffy). In fact, this is one of the few times when I didn't have to throw out the first batch which is great when you are cooking for one. They browned up perfectly and one portion is very filling. I ate them at 9 AM, played tennis from 10-11:30 and I wasn't really hungry until just before noon. Highly recommend for anyone looking to eat higher protein or even gluten free. Just take your regular (not over expensive) pancake mix and throw an egg and some milk in and you'll have a much better tasting, cheaper, almost as high protein pancake.
