I’ve only used the DC ammeter function so far, and it’s worked well to diagnose weak solar cells without pulling connections apart. Exactly what I was hoping for. I agree with other users. I’ve had to Zero it more than with other meters. Also watch that you don’t inadvertently bump the Hold button. Size is good to work with all reasonable-sized cables. 4/0 was no problem at all.
