I keep one scraper in the kitchen with a metal blade and use this mainly for cleaning the glass cooktop on my stove. It is easy to push open the blade and to change the blade just keep pushing and then you need to push the blade out to the side (I used a dinner knife so I didn't slip and accidentally cut myself). Then slip in a new one. I keep the other scraper in the bathroom with a plastic blade to use on the bottom edge of the glass shower door to help remove minerals from the well water. But if I ever need it for other duties I have plenty of extra blades to use. And I like that the scrapers are ergonomic so it is easily held in the hand and doesn't put stress on wrists when working.
