I was sometimes getting as many as 18 miles per gallon in town. Turned out the original filters were still installed. They were OEM Mercedes Benz filters that were dirty and needed to be replaced. I replaced them with K & N Filters and immediately the gas milage jumped up to 22 miles per gallon in town.Replacement filters similar to OEM from Oreilly were $22.00 each, I did not price OEM Mercedes Benz filters. The K & N filters from this particular vendor were $41.00 each.
