Think it has 4 settings. When you turn off make sure red ghost blinky doesn't blink. It's a great item. But at 30.00 was a little overpriced. Always needs button pressed for batteries. Guess plug works with your phone too, can't answer that one. **Q: Can you hang this light on a wall?** A: The only way this will go on the wall is if you have a shelf. There are no holes for screws for support. This is designed for a TV stand or desk/table. **Q: Don't you know there are four ghosts?
