I plug it to a 10000mah battery and it will simply last all day long!!! BUT beware, let the camera recognize it can juice up on the battery, that means to turn on the power bank once you plugged the USB, turn on the camera, it may send you back to day configuration and turn OFF and ON again by itself (especially if the power bank is one of those that turns off when it's not being used) - When that is happening, DO NOT take a picture or record ANYTHING, that will immediately corrupt everything on the memory, it will still be usable but you will need to format it once it happens. Once your learn that gripe, the value of this is unmatched against having to carry many batteries or risk buying 3rd party ones.
