A: Dear Customer,

Thank you for your interest in our products and for your inquiry.

Huawei smartphones benefit from a regional, limited warranty applicable only in the respective region. Smartphones made for the EU benefit from an EU-wide warranty ( Including Switzerland and Norway ) for two years from the date of purchase; the warranty can be validated with a copy of the original proof of purchase; bear in mind that refurbished, reconditioned and second hand devices do not benefit from warranty ( 2nd hand devices apply provided that the proof of purchase of the original purchaser can be shown as proof ). We recommend contacting the retailer that is selling Huawei devices for clarification in terms of which variant they are selling and if they are an official retailer.

Best regards,
Huawei Customer Care Team
