My baby took to the nipple so easily too! Such a relief! We have had zero problems with leaking. We used Dr. Brown’s glass and plastic bottles. The plastic bottles were light weight and our daycare did not allow glass bottles. The benefit of having glass was mainly to avoid microplastics but you can’t avoid plastic with the other parts the Dr. Browns bottles have. They are so heavy too and feeding my girl every 1.5- 2 hrs became painful on my wrist and thumb. Also they are SO time consuming to wash. We dreaded “bottle service” because of all the tiny parts that had to be carefully washed. A pain in the butt! These bottles solved every problem. They are so light weight, a breeze to clean due to the wide neck, are soft and durable, and best of all the high grade silicone material contains no BPA, PVC, and phthalates. Keep in mind because it’s such a wide mouth bottle the milk won’t fill the nipple unless you place it at a ~70 degree angle or so to get every last drop. My baby doesn’t mind. Something else to mention is if you don’t wash the vents properly the bottle may collapse when your baby suckles. So, if this happens to you don’t be alarmed.
