I find them to be the most true to size, and very durable..I normally support my local surf shops, but the prices they were asking for almost the exact rash guard was double than what this item costs me on Amazon. It clings tight and helps keep body warmth and with it being 50+ SPF against the sun I had no problem being out in the water for hours without getting burnt. I even swam into some heavy tide that brushed me up into some coral. Thankfully the shirt took the brunt of the scrapes and I walked away without a scratch. Other parts of my body like my legs and hands that were exposed were not so lucky!The sizes do run a little small so plan on going one size up. A large was still tight on me and I'm not even that big of a guy. We lovingly called it my Sausage Tee since it clung so tight. Getting in and out of it required some maneuvering but you're gonna want it to be a little tight against your skin. You won't even notice it after a while. In fact you'll just be glad you have it on in the water. Also It doesn't hurt that you'll look pretty cool wearing it!
