Review: Good stuff - This stuff really works! It’s a bit on the smelly side but i was able to restore a concrete statue and you couldn’t tell where repair was located once I was finished. It takes a bit to get the two compounds mixed and I did end up wearing disposable gloves, but the end color is exactly like concrete. Filling small cracks in the bird bath is next.

Usually, I usually use mortar repair caulk, but I had a very small job this time around, and I did not need an entire tube of caulk. I am so glad I found this. It is similar to "play doh" or "silly putty." You mold it between your fingers to "mix" and then you press it into your mortar, shaping as you go. Much like silly putty, you can roll it between your hands to form a long "snake" shape, which works great for slim mortar joints. Dries quickly and adhered well to my preexisting mortar. Three tips: 1) Even though the instructions show you can mix this with bare hands, the epoxy will leave residue on your skin. You may want to use gloves for easier cleanup; 2) One tube does not go far so you probably want to pick up a couple tubes if you have bigger project; 3) The color of the epoxy does not exactly match my brick mortar (but then again, the mortar repair caulk does not match either). Just a heads up if it extremely important that you match the color of your item to the epoxy.

**Q: Would this work to repair a concrete garden statue that I dropped?  It broke into several large pieces.**
A: I used the putty to repair a garden statue, but my repair was mostly chips and cracks.  I was able to mold a new ear on my cement donkey.  I think though if you have large pieces, because of the weight, maybe considering this stuff would make more sense.  PC Products 70079 PC-Masonry Two-Part Masonry Repair Epoxy Adhesive Paste, 8 oz in Two Cans, Gray.  I was able to patch a chunk where rebar was exposed, but it still was only a small area. Look into this other stuff.

**Q: i'm needing to glue my sharping stone to a wood frame , will this do the job on wood and my stone ? thank you**
A: i think this would be a great solution for that! i used it to anchor in my flog pole in the mortar holes that had become too big.  it takes a lot of force and torque and it has stood up to the test

**Q: Will this stick to plastic? My dog has begun to chew a hole in her crate to dig the bars out. I'd like to cover the pit and keep the bar in place.**
A: It is expoxy and I believe that it would work.  HOWEVER, I am a dog owner and if your dog is a vigorous chewer I would be afraid that he/she might keep chewing in that spot, dislodge the expoxy and swallow it.  It would be undigestable.  I wouldn't want my dog to have a go at it.  Linda

**Q: My bird bath is ceramic and it leaks. Is this water proof? I need something that stops all the leaks.**
A: I have never used it with ceramic.  It’s really for concrete items.

I bought this because a bird bath I inherited had two cracks in it and was losing water. I expected it to be a bit softer. It took a bit of work to get it blended and by then it was starting to dry. It pushed into the crack easily and dried quickly. When it's dry it looks just like the surrounding concrete. When the bird bath gets wet though, it looks like white plaster, almost. It is obvious it's a patch. I wouldn't use it on anything really obvious and expect it to blend but the birds don't seem to mind.
