I was told this cap was comparable to the OEM cap, and the packaging stated that it was "Made in Japan". When I got home I pressure tested this cap several times and found that it held pressure to 17-PSI, which is just fine (around 16-PSI or 108 kPa is considered normal).I've had no complaints with this product.
