The instructions have many languages, therefore all the instructions are very tiny and hard to read. If you shine a flashlight on it you should be able to read it. Definitely wear long socks under it for comfort. Price is pretty reasonable for a medical device.
Review: Exactly what I needed! - I recently fell on ice and broke my fibula...I knew I'd be in one of these once I was out of the hard cast and boot (I'd broken my other fibula several years ago), so I went ahead and ordered it. So glad I did! The same one from the ortho doctor was $125 (my insurance has a deductible on DME)! Anyway, this is working perfectly. For those that say you can "never get it to fit correctly" - you have to remember that the part that goes under your foot is adjustable. Once you get that right, it will be comfortable and supported. I love that it can also be chilled in the fridge or freezer to deal with any swelling. This would be excellent for treating a sprain. It fits in to both my hiking shoes and my sneakers....it will stretch them out eventually, so I purchased an extra pair of sneakers so I don't stretch out my good ones. This thing is a real ankle saver!

**Q: Hello. I have a question about the product. Is it for use when I play sports? Or it is used for the recovery of an injury while not playing sports?**
A: I’ve used them for years playing basketball and it works good.  It put a little extra wear n tear on the shoes but well worth it

**Q: where does the air tube go**
A: There is a little air pocket folded behind the top of the green air cast itself that needs to be pulled up so you can insert the air tube into it so you can blow air into it.  Remove the air tube & fold the pocket back over to keep the air in the cast.

**Q: I wear a size 81/2 shoe What size I order?**
A: Small

**Q: Can this be washed in the washing machine, or do you have to hand wash?? Little help please...**
A: It does not require that type of washing. Wear it with a sock it is all plastic.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective and less annoying than the newer kind

I broke my ankle by rolling it stepping off the elliptical and was so relieved I could use an air cast instead of a boot. There’s a newer fancier air cast but it’s so restrictive that it’s uncomfortable and held my ankle more than I needed. The doctor didn’t like how it fit me and suggested I buy the old school version on Amazon. Much happier with this. It’s easy to walk in and adjustable. It will damage your shoes though so know going in that you’ll need new sneakers when you’re done using it. The ankle area of the shoe gets permanently stretched out because it’s bulky and thick.
