I wish I had this book when I started macrobiotics in 1985, because this would have made it so much easier. There are lots of books out there on this subject, but some of the material is old and dated, and this book fixes those problems and gives refreshing insight into one of the most healthy diets in the world. The pictures are beautiful and the recipes delicious.
