    Could be a little louder

I have mixed feelings about this product.  First let me start with the good.  It has a nice appearance and is a direct plug in for my Escort Redline radar detector.  My radar detector speaker went out for the second time and was tired of Escort extorting money from me for a part which I believe they know is defective.  So I found this speaker on another site and found it at a better price on Amazon.  Really the only negative is volume or lack there of.  It is not even as loud as the original speaker built in the radar detector.  That said it will buy me some time before I need to buy a new detector.  Update- I've used this for a few days now.  The volume really is a problem.  With the radio on or the windows down it can not be heard even on maximum volume.  If it was more than $10 I would of returned it.
