It you take in account the ingredients and the flavor and freshness...It is the best tasting whey protein powder out there! I like the vanilla because not only it is so versatile to bake with and make low carb treats out of it is awesome in a "milkshake". For variety I use the banana flavor and also the Chocolate (with chocolate almond milk and a raw egg added it tastes JUST LIKE a Wendy's milkshake!!! YUM....not very low carb but it works for an occasional treat!) Back to the vanilla; I have two recipes to share. The easy one is... a raw egg (from a local free range source) one scoop of Mercola vanilla (yes one is all I ever need) and 2C of sweetened coconut or almond-coconut (silk brand). Put in a shaker cup or blender and CHEERS to you! A more complex recipe....1/2 banana and several blueberries or strawberries, 1 T of pure vanilla extract (not artificial), 3T unsweetened coconut flakes, 1 scoop of Mercola Vanilla or omit the banana and use banana whey, 3 cups of sweetened coconut milk.1 raw egg, Ice if necessary. Blend.A personal note: I add a raw egg for flavor and health benefits. No need to comment if your opinion on eggs differs. My family has been doing this for 10 years in 2 different locations with both farm raised and store bought free range eggs. You have a greater chance of getting sick from a tick or from big city pollution than having any problem with eggs. The flavor with an egg is kinda similar to raw cake batter. I haven't even seen an independent study out there that ONLY tests eggs so the cholesterol being raised in my opinion is a myth. But each to his own....if you want to try it, enjoy, if not skip the egg.You can't go wrong with Mercola Vanilla if you are wanting to get and try the best tasting out there. It is a bit pricey but defiantly worth it and depending on your needs, you can use one scoop instead of two like I do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good clean protein *by I***A on February 6, 2018* I’ve only had one serving of it but i really like it so far. The powder is very fine so the shake is not β€œgrainy” in texture, which is not a problem but it was a noticeable difference. The flavor is better than i expected. It actually did keep me full from 7am to 1pm. Ill probably sprinkle a little cinammon next time to switch up the flavor.
