I will say that when my husband uses it- who is much larger/more muscular than me and works out harder than I do- you can kind of see where it’s limits would be as far as what it can take. That said, it’s held up nicely for both of us. If you’re planning to practice for a marathon and straight up run on it for hours and hours, it might not have what you need. But for us, who just want something affordable that we can both use at home, with our differing workout levels, that will fit in the house nicely and be easy to maneuver, this is a stellar machine for the price and exactly what we were hoping for. Review: Walking happy. - I bought Velocity Classic because it offered a wider walking surface (16") and I felt I might need that. There are other brands who use less walking surface. Easy to set up just put in 6 bolts and 2 washers. Remove 2 screws to attach the covers, then reattach the screws. It says to be sure to check the wires are connected. Mine were so no issues there. I was able to unpack and assemble this item myself. Set it up where I wanted, plugged it in, and then I was walking on it. If you register it will via the website on the card it will send you to a different website to complete the registration. Buttons work as described. NOTE: If you are out of shape, like me, you probably do not want to use the pre-set training programs until you work yourself up to them. I tried the warm up. It started at 1mph then jumped pretty quickly to 2mph, 2.5mph, and then 3mph. I am so not at that level to be able to do 3mph for any sustained length of time. It goes up and down in speed on the pre-set warm up but it does beep to give you warning that the speed is going to change. Noise level wasn't too bad. All treadmills I have been around in gym or elsewhere have had some associated noise. It is easily portable allowing you to move it where you need it. I have shifted it around a few times to find the ideal spot. Just turning it on and hitting start it will go 0.6mph and if you need more speed you can adjust - I found that perfect for my fitness level. Even at the lowest level it is on an incline so be prepared. Do I need to bend them out?** A: My treadmill had the same issue. The handle bars were about 3 inches wider on both side than the supports. We push the supports out and fit the screws in the holes in the handle bars. Also there were screws that were already set in the holes so we removed them and used these screws and not the S2 screws that were supplied which would have been too short. There did not seem to be a place for these screws listed as S2 in the instructions. **Q: How do you get the treadmill to start? Good luck on your journey to fitness. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little Treadmill for shorter people REVISED 1.1.2025 *by J***N on May 2, 2023* I really like the size and maneuverability of this treadmill. It was exactly what I needed. My only complaint would be the side handles. I’m only 5ft 2in and I still constantly hit the back of my hands and wrists on the darn handles and that REALLY hurts. It’s impossible to just get going on a speed walk and have proper arm swing unless I’m consciously making sure my arms are tucked close to my body. I’m a small frame, so I imagine someone with a wider stance would encounter this issue as well. If you’re taller and running with your arms bent and tucked you might avoid this problem. However, if you’re a walker and swing your arms straighter down then you’re surely going to quickly earn a bruise or two on the back of your hands. In my opinion, the handles with the pulse monitor on this machine would be much better suited at the front of the machine; leaving the sides completely open. I have cut and put pool noodles over the handle ends to soften the blow. It helps. Overall, I still give the machine a 4 star. UPDATE- 1.1.2025 After a year and half the original model I reviewed started to have issues with the track slipping and hesitating. I tried every “fix” and many YouTube tutorials to try and figure out the issue to no avail. It just became too frustrating to even try to use. I decided to purchase another model of the same brand because I really do like the smaller compact size of this treadmill. I purchased the 213.5 model. It arrived quickly. Was extremely easy to assemble. However, there is definitely an alignment issue with the track being folded into the storage position. It shifts to the left and hits the handle bars. I have no idea how to even attempt to fix this. Nothing is bent…so it’s misalignment is puzzling. I’m hoping that it does not interfere with the actual operation of the machine. I know it will definitely cause significant wear on the handle. I live in AK and boxing this machine up to send back is not something I want to do. I’m hoping I can get more than a couple years out of this machine. When researching the misalignment I did stumble across another reviewer that apparently had the same problem and I find this a bit worrisome.
