I only need a cheep thin pillow to achieve my desired pillow height. The pillow is made entirely of their proprietary GelFlex Grid. This means the pillow is extremely heavy and has an awkward shape. You can tell the GelFlex material was meant to be laid on with your full body weight. It does not translate as well to a pillow form factor. This of course means the pillow is on the firm side. If you prefer pillows that are more firm, this might be considered a plus for you, but for someone who prefers softer pillows, it does take significant adjustment.
