Whether that be drying the excess of water on your car after using a drying towel, leveling and buffing off polish residues, quick detail sprays, ceramic sealant sprays, waterless washes, interior panels, etc... Pro tip: Try not to wash these in a fast rinse mode in the washing machine as that can possibly damage the fibers leaving them linty. You wanna use dedicated microfiber cleaning detergents, gentle speed settings when rinsing, and never use any heat on the drying machine.
