Best driver bit I've ever owned!

*by F***K on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2014*

I was glad to find these on Amazon. The original ones I had were purchased at Lowes several years ago. I've never used any bits that were tougher than these. I've bought and used other brands (Harbor Freight, Dewalt, Milwaukee, Makita, B&D, etc.). They've all either broken or tips wore out after just a few uses. The brand didn't seem to matter.I've used the ACR tips with my impact driver for anything that requires a #2 Phillips tip. I've never broken one. They eventually wear out, but they last at least 10 times longer than the standard tips. The small serrations/ ribs on the tip really help the tip grip the screws and keep it from jumping out (eventually stripping the screw head). Otherwise, all of the impact that I subject these to have never resulted in surface chipping or breaking. I use the tips with my Makita 18 volt impact driver to drive drywall screws. The absolute best Phillips driver tips on the planet.

    Personal favorite bits

*by A***O on Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2013*

I used these bits when I did Standing seam metal roofing panels. This is absolutely my favorite bit. These will outlast pretty much any other bit and do not dent or get grinded off. The bit works perfect until it breaks which is actually a good thing because a bit that has worn down isn't useful at all. These bit also have these little ridges at the tip that keep the screws gripped tight and reduce stripping. They also sell these in the smaller size if you are interested in using them with a magnet.I bought a pack of these months ago and occasionally use one of them and its still looks exactly like it did when I first bought it.When I ran 5-10,000 screws a day or so when doing roofing these really showed how good they are, everyones bits were constantly breaking and they were replacing them 2 times a day. I used the ACR's and would replace them once a week at most. If you just occasionally need a bit for household use, this may be the last philips bit you will ever buy. I have used pretty much every other type of bit available at Lowes and Home Depot, any none of them are even close to the quality and precision in size. 1/100 of an inch makes a big difference when you run so many screws.Definitely recommend these bits to any one who needs one, and will continue to do so until their quality is reduced if ever.

    Best alternative to #2 bits!

*by A***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2015*

I use these bits in place of regular #2 Phillips. The coating has never let them rust and I've never broken one. I have a dozen or so in all of my tool bags/boxes that have drills or drivers and they've never let me down. I used to go through regular uncoated #2 bits constantly and was sick of buying replacements.I've never found these in a store and they were recommended by a friend. Worth the the money!
