I really like the lightweight version because you can easily layer it depending on the weather. The down-like material is also super comfy!When you're wrapped up in this comforter, unlike any other comforter I've had, I always feel cozy and can snuggle up without my body overheating. It wasn't until after sleeping with this that I realized how many times I woke up during the night due to being hot and wanting to move to a cooler part of the bed.I will be buying only Slumber Cloud products for my bed from now on! Well, our last blanket (which we will keep because of how unspeakably expensive it was...) was cotton and down, and we would wake up several times per night, just glazed in a coat of sweat. I Googled "best blanket for hot sleepers and this was unanimously the winner on multiple review sites. I'm so thankful that I trusted these reviews and went against my "synthetics can't breath" theory that was drilled into my head. Not only have we not woken up once because it was too hot, but it keeps us perfectly warm when it's cold in the room. Just today, I took a nap and it was cold in there so I put the blanket over my head, fully expecting to have to take my head out to breath in a few moments... but that "I'm just breathing in my own hot breath and about to suffocate" feeling, never came. The air exchange is so good, I slept completely under the blanket for at least a half hour and had one of the best naps of my adult life. Another perk is that the warmth to stuffing ratio is really small. When the box arrived, I had to double check that I had ordered the right size. We keep our home cool during the nights but we were still looking for additional cooling.We like the product because it is very soft and very lightweight but think this it is more to keep people warm but not overheat during the winter months.We're looking forward to using it when our temperatures finally cool down.
