Great product. *by L***E on August 14, 2026* This is my second herm sprenger, a 3.0. My first one was a 2.25 for my 50lb female Malinois. They are made well. You need to have a firm finger grip to latch and unlatch, but the angle of the links are such that you don't need to have incredible finger strength. Fit was right for my newly adopted 75 lb very fluffy Aussie Shepherd mix, didn't have to buy additional links. Listen, if you are going to purchase one of these, go to their site or do some research on how to use it properly and what size you need and how to fit it to your dog FIRST. It's very important if you're going to use this for training and have it be a GOOD training tool, not one that hurts/traumatizes your dog. These, used properly should never hurt your dog or be used to punish.
