**Q: How tall is it with the top lifted?**
A: Its high enough to get your knees under, but depends on how high your sofa is.

**Q: Is it sturdy enough to work on a laptop when top is lifted up?**
A: Yes definitely. When lifted it has little hook catches that lock on and stops it from collapsing back down until you release them which is a very simple thing to do. Not complicated in anyway.

**Q: is it white high gloss**
A: I can't answer this, I bought the wooden one (love it, by the way and so much interest in it)

A: Not sure I'm afraid I got the oak effect table.
