I only have use of one hand and need to tie from the front.** A: It is long enough for the ties to go to the back of your body then bring around to the front and make a knot. You can probably make a small bow, but you don't have enough length to make a big bow. **Q: Is it waterproof? I searched waterproof aprons and it was about the top of the list, but looking at the specs I don't see it listed as a feature??** A: I do not think any Chef's apron is waterproof...they must be washable. The only waterproof apron I know about is rubber or a laboratory apron. Some aprons might have a waterproof cover sprayed on like a butcher's apron.
