This isnt my first belly binder, but it is the best one I have had! I purchased this to wear after my abdominal surgery. It made a HUGE difference in minimizing my discomfort while recovering! The material is soft and comfortable yet offers wonderful steady compression. I love that it is wider than most belly binders I have seen or used. It covered from above my naval to my hips! It provided support both to my abdomen and my back. The velcro closure runs the width of brace and will stick to itself all around the entire brace. This is a nice feature to accommodate for swelling as well as still fitting as my "swelly- belly" improved and went down.It fit just fine under my clothes also. Now I wasnt wearing snug fitting clothes, but I wore it under shorts, sun dresses, and over yoga pants with a longer T-shirt to cover the brace and it was hidden just fine.I caught a respiratory virus about 2 weeks after my surgery. Anyone who has had a cough following surgery knows how excruciating coughing can be! This binder made coughing much more comfortable and therefore productive. I have no doubt that had I not had my belly binder, my chest cold would have turned to pneumonia had I not been able to cough effectively due to pain.I highly recommend this belly binder for anybody having a c-section, hysterectomy, hernia surgery or any other procedure that involes cutting throught the abdomen muscles. I also would recommend this binder for back support. It is more comfortable, convenient, effective and considerably less expensive than the binders hospitals have dispensed to me after my 3 abdominal surgeries and one back surgery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality binder for price. Just like the one received at hospital *by J***Z on August 16, 2018* Good quality binder, comfortable, and offers support needed for csection. I am a little on the heavy side and ordered the large. I ordered two to wear both simultaneously—one on bottom hip area and the other for top part of abdomen. The binder’s velcro makes it adjustible and can be tightened or loosened. Will last two weeks and then will need to reorder. In my view it’s worth it if it puts everything back in its place and supports you in all needed areas in a comfortable way. I ordered another binder for post birth, and it was super uncomfortable and the wires hurt. The wires and tightness of it made it unbearable. This binder was great for surgery. Delivery was fast and seller trustworthy. Item shipped was new and there were no signs of it being used. This is important. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great support, great price!! *by S***R on March 3, 2016* Exact one I came home with from the hospital. Very strong but they do stretch out and even my finger has poked through it after wearing for 6 weeks when I try to pull it up or down to adjust it after sitting or bending. Ordered a different brand but didn't like it as well...did like that the entire thing was made from what the velcro would adhere to but didn't give as much support as this one, and it was a bit itchy. This one does tend to ride up and I have to pull it down to my hips, but I am short-waisted. Tried the 3 panel version but wasn't long enough to cover the area that needed to be covered...maybe once I heal more. I have ordered 2 more of these for the future. Like the price...affordable since I need to order them every 4-6 weeks or so. Would be nice if this adhere-to panel was longer, but may need to get the next smaller size. I wear mine 24/7 (except for showers) per doctor's orders after surgery and will continue to wear it after that when I feel I need extra support. Wish I had known about it before hernia surgery. Maybe my hernia wouldn't have turned into a triple hernia if I'd had the support while I waited for surgery.
