The dimensions quoted are probably for the box of 6 leds. The individual bulbs are normal sized candles. I installed 6 bulbs on a normal dimmer and they work fine. Hope this helps. **Q: Is that save energy and also A+++?** A: The bulbs are A+ , and 4watt. Equivalent to 40 watts. They are long life bulbs so eco friendly. I have had no problems with these. They are dimmable, I have mine in a 3 stage bedside lamp, and works well.
