## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there an XLR adaptor for the pga31 mic, in order to use as a wired mic?**
A: Use the Shure RPM626 in-line preamp adapter.  It converts the TA4 plug to xlr and utilizes phantom power to allow it to go into a mixer.  I use one along with a Rolls MM11 push to talk switch for stadium PA announcing.

**Q: What else do I need to buy besides this headset and a set of speakers in order for this work?**
A: This headset as just a wireless microphone.  You can't just plug a microphone directly into a set of speakers. You will need some sort of audio amplifier (an "amp") to boost the signal that goes to the speakers.  The Amp should also have a loudness control (and possibly balance and tone controls if you really care about sound quality).  NOTE: You need to be sure that the output socket on the PGA31 is compatible with the input jack on the Amp.

**Q: Do I need to purchase a wireless battery pack, and will it work with my current wireless at church. I am a keyboardist.**
A: It depends on what your system is already at the church.  If you have a Shure battery pack already then it should be compatible. That's why we stayed with Shure. Hope that helps.

I bought when I started teaching at the gym 2 years ago. It stays out as well as it always has and fits great. It gets put in the bubble wrap bag after use but then into my gym bag which with 2 kids gets thrown, dropped, stepped on in the car and is still going strong!
