Its light material and really soft and comfortable to wear for hours at a time. I got the light gray with the scarf. I really like the scarf but its not always practical due to the length. It is easy to remove and put back on. I've considered shortening it a little but its such a lovely scarf I havent decided yet. I do plan to try a few other styles but may get another of these in a differrent color. It was well worth the price to me and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.
