The RC6s in-ceiling speaker delivers both channels of a stereo signal from a single overhead location. It's perfect for a bathroom, kitchen, hallway, or anywhere else that you want great stereo sound from just one hideaway speaker. Features Dynamic Balance woofer and dual dome tweeters that provide lifelike stereo imaging with a clean midrange, deep bass and smooth, accurate highs. Easy installation in 3 steps - cut a hole, feed the wires through, and simply drop the speaker in – puts built-in audio within reach. Review: Better then expected - Bought these and a set of monitor audio in ceiling speakers. One for the bathroom and the other for the ensuite. Both are hooked up to an airport express through Temple Audio amplifiers. These speakers seem to have more punch and sweater high frequencies. They just sound so much better then the Monitor Audios which cost over twice the price. They exceeded my expectations when installed in the ceiling. Testing before hand side by side out of situe the Monitor Audios sounded much better but installed in their final position these out perform the Monitor Audios.
Review: Great speaker for stereo audio where more than 1 speaker is not practical or too much work - For the price these are great speakers. Very solidly built and extremely easy to install, though compared to routing/installing the wire run, the speaker installation itself is usually the easiest part of in-wall speakers. Will this speaker compete with audiophile grade and priced speakers - YES and NO! - YES in that it does sound nice and clear AND because the stereo audio from 1 speaker will sound much better / more "normal" than a single (non-stereo) speaker. I would not use this for a home theater system, but for whole-house audio often people don't realize how "odd" speakers will sound compared to standard paired (2) speakers. Just throwing 2 speakers in a room will not give a proper stereo experience, but sitting directly in front of a single 1 of these speakers will. - NO in that you do get what you pay for to some extent. I would put these up against speakers costing twice as much, but these are not audiophile grade.

**Q: Why does the speaker have two pairs (4 total) speaker posts?**
A: Because it is the like having 2 speakers in one.  Hook one pair to the right channel and one pair to the left channel.

**Q: There are existing holes cut out in the ceiling. What measurement of an opening will this speaker fit?**
A: 7 9/16 diameter

**Q: does it take 2 sets of speaker wire to drive this speaker**
A: Yes that is correct. I used some scrap 3 conductor cable, 14-3 I think, for this run. Much easier running 1 cable as apposed to 2 speaker wires.

**Q: con you connect the speakers with a Sonos System?**

Acheté pour mettre prochainement dans une salle de bain en étant relié à un ampli hifiberry (monté sur un raspberry pi zero WH avec l'OS picoreplayer). Cela fonctionne correctement lors du test. Par contre, l'effet stéréo semble absent. A valider lors de l'installation finale dans le faux plafond avant d'en commander d'autres pour d'autres pièces.
