Maybe because we have a California king mattress and they were always so expensive not this brand but any type of Christmas sheets. Once I came across these, the price was right and I really liked the design. I washed them and they didn’t get ruined and they didn’t shrink! They feel good and of course they’re not luxurious sheets, but for a short period of time these sheets feel good on our skin and we’re happy with them! They aren’t slippery and they aren’t thick which we do not like real thick sheets.
