Well first off, I live in the south and we have red clay here. I also have two dogs that LOVE to track in said red clay into the house. This is not a comforter that I leave out on my bed as shown in the product pic. Oh no, I’m not stupid. I leave this off to the side and only use it when it gets chilly. Since I sleep with my door shut I don’t have to worry about either of the dogs coming in and yucking it up, but after I get up I just make sure to gently fold it off to one side of my queen size bed and that way when either dog wants to come up to lay on my bed they can do so without messing up this lush comforter. It truly is poofy and warm, we’ve had the temps dip into the upper 30’s here the last couple of nights and this has been so cozy to snuggle under.I don’t wake up feeling like I’ve been in a sauna all night long, just pleasantly warm. I live in Northern Minnesota where it's very cold for half the year. I was worried it wouldn't be warm enough but I was surprised to find out it keeps me very warm despite it's light weight. Some complained how wrinkled it was. I set my iron to a high steam setting and just held it right above the fabric. I was able to get the wrinkles out.
