It only says cast iron.** A: Yes the advert can be mis-leading cast iron refers to the heating element only, not the pan type to use on it **Q: Would you recommend to make expresso -ie boil 250 ml of water quickly ?** A: Hi, Mine busted so I had a refund. It worked the first time and it doesn't heat up like an induction. It takes some time to boil the water so you would have to wait. Use the highest heat to make an expresso. **Q: What is the max temperature that it can reach?** A: Sorry don't know what the temperatures are, but dial goes from 1 to 5. It does however get very hot all over so hence four not five stars. It would have been perfect with some heat insulation or other protective barrier to stop accidental burns.
