## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect size for 2-4 people, arrived fully assembled, solid design, 180-500F temp range = happy grill dude!
*by C***C on May 13, 2016*

Summary - saved $99 ordering direct from Rec Tec. Solid built, simple to operate, perfect size grill for me. Awesommme!I saved $99 in shipping ordering direct from Rec Tec - ordered Mon morning, had it by Thur morning (Fedex ground was delayed 1 day due to really big storms, otherwise it would have arrived Wed afternoon!). No assembly required - awesome, I just unpacked it, unfolded the wheels, plugged it in and began the burn-in instructions in under 30min.The Mini weighs about 100lbs with a small footprint - about half the overall size of my 4 burner propane grill parked side by side.Perfect size for cooking for 2-4 people. The grill rack is about 20"x15" - size of the left half of my propane grill, which is all I ever use for 4 people. When I look at the rack I picture 12 restaurant hamburgers(4 across x 3 deep). Or 9 robust home hamburgers(3 x 3) with a little room between them. Be a while before I will get around to the 12lb turkey they say this will hold. I am sure it will do fine. Btw, brined overnight, I found 230f for 4hrs yields a smoked turkey so good the oven bird got ignored. I am thinking the Mini will take over this duty now.Temp range is 180f-500f, then bump setting up one more past 500F to "gimme all you got" setting where it does its best to max out (which is maybe 550f depending on ambient temp and pellets). Lookee there, I got to use "ambient" in a sentence!Wheels make it handy for moving around the patio - as others have warned, be careful moving it. Even when empty it is arse-heavy and with just a little encouragement wants to tip itself over onto the hopper box. Solution I found is to lift the non-wheel legs up as little as possible (say 4") and as mommy used to say about anything expensive, hold on with both hands. It has an "On" button, "Temp" button, "Display" button(changes Temp display to "actual" or "target" temp) and electric cord you plug in (instructions say to use a GFI outlet). Simple. And it was simple. Note that when you turn it on to do your initial burn-in it is pretty obvious the fan is working fine. But the auger moves slowly - better to add pellets to the hopper only after you have got eyeballs on the auger moving properly. Otherwise you will be staring at the pellets for 10 min vainly searching for signs of movement within. Yeah, looked dumb, but no one was around to see me.

### ⭐ Low quality merchandise.
*by M***F on April 1, 2017*

We had a significant problems with rust, warping, and an igniter failures a few months after purchase with average use of the grill in the midwest. To their credit, the company responded well, but we had to replace parts and paint areas of the grill. Still rusting. Unless we got an atypical lemon, one suspects the company has significant issues with quality.Even though the compnay responded promptly to our complaints, I cannot recommend this grill. Low quality.UPDATE: Grill still works but is rusting bad all over, and we keep it covered. Company should do right and send new grills to customers or refund them. Pics below.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Mini great except!!!!
*by P***S on July 6, 2015*

Works great except you got to be careful when you grab handle to move it. The wheels slide out from under because of weight. If you look at pic the hopper with all of its weight on back end where the wheels are located. I already dumped my grill twice now. All I did was lift it up one handed to move and it just took off and flipped on the hopper. When it flips it is that quick just boom
