I used it to shoot a concert 5 days ago and worked without a hitch. I can't tell you if this will last 6months, or 2 years.. Time will tell. This is a bit too long for that purpose. Which add extra weight and you have manage the extra length of the wire (I wind it around the flash bracket). If you use this so you can hold the flash with an arm’s length... which doesn’t make sense to me, then it will be more comfortable than stretching the 3’ wire. An advantage that I never use. In that case, I will buy a even longer cord so I can place the flash on a stand for even more position options.
