If you are interested in how you might best prepare for the PMI-PBA exam I highly recommend this book for all exam takers and wish you a very good luckThe book is easy to read and I love the way its domains laid out with tools and techniques easier to memorize with mnemonics. I found these tips helpful for the most part. No doubt, Elizabeth & Richard Larson are very well experienced in BA area, provided that they have utilized their experience well and designed the book as what was expected to gain knowledge for the exam. The contents are very specific yet easy to understand, the book ignores all such areas which are not crucial to the exam, and only focuses on important topics.Additionally, the book also comes with a 05-day free trial access to watermark learning exam database which is packed with valuable information and explanation. The questions are very close to the real exams.Currently, PMI Practitioner's guide does not provide ITTOs tables for each domain as in PMBOK. This book, however, provides you ITOs table which helps you understand domains activities resulting in outputs/document produced. PMI recently released a BA guide which now lays out ITTOs relevant to each domain, which was missing in the earlier guide. Knowing and understanding ITTOs is the most important aspect to pass PMI's certification exam, which this book already addressed thru ITOs table.A final note to test takers, A lot of the people I know try a shortcut approach to save money and keep cost a priority over authors experience and course contents, that results in not passing exam at first attempt. If you are pursuing PMI-PBA exam I will recommend purchasing this book and a practice questions bank from Watermark.Good Luck! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good, but some inapplicable content *by D***E on April 28, 2018* Very helpful; passed my exam with this book’s help! But it contained quiz questions that were IIBA-specific (perhaps left over from their other exam study guide?) and not aligned to the PMI – PBA content being taught. It undermined my confidence to do self-quizzes with unfamiliar content out of left field; it took a lot of Internet research for me to figure out what they were talking about in those questions. Their online exams had the same problem. But again, this book was tremendously helpful for studying for a very new exam that had few study guides available. I read it in depth three times and cross checked it with other sources, which made me very prepared. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PMI-PBA Certification *by A***8 on August 24, 2015* 24-Aug -2015 - Completed application. Just started reading the book. Total number of pages in the book: 436. Will keep updating the review as progress is made.24- Aug -2015 - update: There is an overlap of content with PMP exam. Hence, if you have already completed your PMP or currently preparing for PMP, then PMI-PBA exam might turn out to be relatively less hard, then a total PMI newbie taking the exam.24 Aug-2017 - Re-starting preparation.
