The gifted container went to a family member who had lost or broken the clamp on her Anova circulator. The close fitting lid holds the Anova almost as securely as the clamp would.I used to clamp my Anova to a pasta pot for cooking steaks. This works so much better and holds larger meals. I've cooked a 3 lb corned beef in it easily.
