I did notice some very minor rust on one part of it, but it's a robust tool...not a big deal. I'm not sure I'll ever need it again, but it's the right tool for the job when you need it. As other users have said, it is heavy and a little awkward to use. However, with a little patience, I had no issues using it to remove the tub nut on my Whirlpool.
