We have heavy 8’ tall, 4’ wide bypass closet doors. I don’t like the look of the cheaper plastic floor guides that I typically see for these applications. I decided to try these nicer looking barn door style guides and MacGyver them to work how I needed, without floor damage. So I used the name brand clear removable strips that are also used for wall hooks and artwork (not sure I can say the brand here). It’s only been 24 hours, and I had to wait a couple hours for the adhesive to fully stick, but so far they’re working really well. I put felt pads on each side of the guides to prevent any marks on the doors. This comes as a 2-pack, but I ended up using 1 1/2 for this application. For 1 set of bypass doors, I used 2 of the larger pieces and 1 smaller piece (leaving 1 smaller piece and all screws unused). The large pieces are in the front & back, with the smaller piece in between the doors with a felt pad on both sides. Highly recommended. Keystone placed wooden blocks behind the guides as their adjustable spacer. Floor mount so good to use where you're faced with uneven casings to attach too.
