Review: Great Tool fast and painless on my hands. - I used this up in my attic with a bee suit because I was putting up screens over openings in my attic to stop the bees from coming in. I needed to put up screens fast as I was being attacked by wasps and bees. This worked well with my bee gloves no problems. I use all DeWalt so I needed a battery adapter and it worked fine on my DeWalt batteries. I wish DeWalt made something like this but currently they don't. Thanks Ryobi for the great tool, makes me want to switch over to a Ryobi lineup.

**Q: Can i use any 18v roybi battery with this**
A: Yes, as far as I know, any Ryobi 18v battery works in every Ryobi 18v tool - I have 8 Ryobi 18v batteries of varying age and description and they all work in all my Ryobi 18v tools...I have over 20 Ryobi tools and have found them easy to use, economical, dependable (I do have a couple which I'd not recommend - the garden sprayer and the 18v hedge trimmer) I'd say the garden sprayer, when it works, is great - problem is, they don't work for long (I went through 3 and went back to my old hand pump) and the hedge trimmer does not make clean cuts half the time.  But other than those 2, Ryobi is a great choice for the DIY person.

**Q: Is this for lighter work as oppose to the 18 gauge narrow crown p360 version?**
A: Hi, yes this is for lighter work.  It does work great and very impressed with the battery life.

**Q: Will this staple 1/4" plywood to ceiling rafters?**
A: Don't think I'd recommend that as the primary method but it will do it with 9/16 staples, I'd only suggest it as a quick way to temporarily attach.  Your question got me thinking and I did test attaching a piece of scrap 1/4 to some pine and it did do it (you would only get about 5/16 of staple through a 1/4" of material. using the maximum 9/16 staples)

**Q: Would this work as a carpet stapler? Stairways and corners?**
A: I’m not sure, I’ve used it for insulation mostly.  I guess it depends on how thick the carpet is.

Super strong and reliable. I used mine to staple about 100 cardboard rulers to my trusses while prepping for blow-in insulation. It is light enough to use at arm's length over a days of work. Uses standard T-50 stapes, I used 1/2' deep staples and could bury them if desired. I also used 3/8" stapes for batt insulation installation. So much better than a hand stapler, or anything you'll find on TIVO or Tik Tok. Park City, KS
