## Description

Magnetic ferro-fluid is a liquid solution containing highly concentrated magnetic Nano particles evenly dispersed and suspended. Ferrofluid behaves like a liquid metal when exposed to magnetic forces and will shape itself to follow the magnetic field lines emited by magnets. This Ferrofluid liquid becomes highly magnetized in the presence of a magnetic field. The dramatic cone shaped spikes of magnetized Ferrofluid are the most stable shape in order to minimize the total energy of the system - known as normal-field instability.

Review: Not what I thought - Most of the fluid is magnetic but it leaves an oily film behind that you cannot see through. I wanted to be able to keep it in a glass and show the kids but as soon as it is pulled to a portion of clear glass and then released it leaves behind black oil. Worked for a few minutes and then you could no longer see inside the glass. Would be happy to hear if there was a better solution to what I need.

Most of the fluid is magnetic but it leaves an oily film behind that you cannot see through. I wanted to be able to keep it in a glass and show the kids but as soon as it is pulled to a portion of clear glass and then released it leaves behind black oil.
