You also have to buy cleats for them for another $15. I tightened the cleats as tight as possible and on the first ride BOTH of them loosened so the platform was wobbling all over the place. The tension on my clipless pedals is perfect for my shoes which have the same exact cleats as i put on the platform pedal, but it is almost impossible to get the platform off the pedal when you want to. I had to use a hammer to pry them off sideways and it cracked the platform.I tried them once and I am trying to return/get a refund, and definitely will never use them again. Like I said, they make it harder to ride on clipless pedals with regular shoes.I will say they are high quality, and a good idea, but they are simply terrible because they hang down under the pedal and are so hard to take off. The weight means they are *always* flipped down int he wrong position. And flipping them back over is easier said than done as they instantaneously flip back to wrong.Plus, but they time you buy another set of clips, you are better off just buying a dual sided pedal like the Shimano PD-A530. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ only metal SPD insert pedals I could find *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2013* These are great pedals. finally some metal pedal inserts I could chuck on my road bike. Caution: make sure you put single release cleats on them, not double.
