Review: Fun and Informative Project - I bought this to build with my grandson, (12 years old), who had been asking a lot of questions about car engines. He had a number of terms, ideas, and concepts that he obviously had heard friends or adults discuss. He was SO excited when I showed him the package and told him about our project. We started working on it the very next morning and had absolutely the best time! The model is well-constructed and pretty straightforward with pictorial diagrams for instructions. We did misread one step and had to go back to correct it, but honestly it was a good learning experience. Of course, the model is plastic but it seems to be very durable. Each step along the way was an opportunity to explain names of parts, their functions, and how everything works together. I let him do almost all of the construction of it and only helped out when some processes were repetitive to help speed things up a little. But he was engaged and interested and excited throughout the process. He had a lot of “aha” moments that are so rewarding when you’re teaching someone and you can see that the concept clicks in their mind. I love the LEDs as spark plugs so that he could better visualize the combustion process. This is such a great teaching tool and makes the learning experience so much clearer. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Review: Fun - Kids had a blast putting it together and it teaches them patience, also pretty cool

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why are the cam lobes all wrong in the directions? I mean on the ome bank, the exhaust and intake valves all open at the same time.**
A: I couldn't figure that out either. I don't find it listed anywhere why. I ended up swapping around the cam lobes to match the other side. I appears to be operating correct with way it functions & the spark plug firing. It should have been noted someplace why the cam shaft was different on that side. The only thing I can figure is maybe they are trying to show the way 4 valves per cylinder operate (even though there are only 2).

**Q: What are the dimensions when built?**
A: Height 8.5”
Depth 8”
Length 12”

**Q: What kind of tools are needed for assembly?**
A: Generally all you will need is a small precision screwdriver. They send one in the package, however if you a set of precision stew drivers you're good to go.

**Q: Anyone know how to reach the vendor (Playz website just sends you to Amazon) I have a defective motor.**
A: If you click on the product you ordered from Amazon you can choose actions and one is to message the actual product store and then you can write a message and Amazon passes it on. I just had to do that for a damaged product return.
