Review: Initial Review: What I've Come to Expect - This is my initial review of the Maxpedition C.M.C. Wallet. It's replacing a trifold Rainbow wallet that I've had for years. It appears to be very well made - just what I've come to expect from Maxpedition. This is a bifold wallet with a Velcro-secured flap. The change pouch on the back side of the wallet is going to take some getting used to. I've never had a wallet that had one of those but I'm already using it and can see the usefulness of it. There is only one bad thing and this is about the only bad thing I have to say about this wallet after using it a just a few days. The zipper pull for the change pouch is really big and got in the way. If I carried the wallet change-pouch-out, it stuck out and printed through my pants pocket. If I carried it change-pouch-in, I could feel it all day, especially when I sat down. The zipper pull is simply too big, in my opinion. What I did was use some needle nose pliers and separated the top of the zipper slider enough so I could take the pull handle off and then closed it back down. The pull was just too big. I can move the slider up and down enough by simply pushing it with my thumb - no need for such a big zipper. If I feel I need something to slide it up and down with I'll use a piece of gutted paracord or something like that. That's it, that's the only negative I can find with this wallet so far. The Velcro on the pouch seems strong. It's loud when you open it it up. There's no way somebody could open your wallet in the same room as you and you NOT know about it. I haven't used the three elastic pouches yet but I'm sure I'll find something to keep in there. I like the way the load is distributed on this wallet. I know I'm coming from a trifold wallet so it's a little like comparing apples to oranges but this wallet distributes the load much more evenly than my old one. I don't feel like I'm sitting on a great big, thick wad of stuff. I also like that there are two currency slots in this wallet. I keep my to-be-used money in the front slot and my not-to-be-used stash money in the back slot. The size is about right. If it were any taller it would stick out from the top of my pants pocket but as it is, it fits just right. I had read and seen some reviews that the Maxpedition Spartan wallet was too tall and would stick out of some pants pockets. They must have gotten some comments and requests about that issue because this one is just the right size. As I've said, this wallet is new to me so I don't have a lot of feedback after much useage of it yet. I've carried it three days now. Should my opinion of the Maxpedition change after carrying it around some more I'll come back and update this review. But as of now, I would recommend this wallet. It seems to be a very well-made wallet: good design, strong stitching and solid materials. I hope it will last for years.
Review: This wallet can beat up your friend's wallet - Super wallet! This thing should come with an S on its chest. If it had a chest. But this is way better than other nylon wallets. The material is heavier, and the design is better. The sewing is all top notch. There are lots of pockets for cards and etc. It has two bill compartments, and two coin (or whatever) pouches-- one inside, flatter, more like for small items, and one on the back, where you could actually use it for change. My one complaint is that the pull on the outer coin pocket actually rattles around a lot. I clipped it off and replaced it with thin paracord. There are also little elastic slots for small USB cards or the like. The wallet is thick (it has a lot of slots and pockets!), so don't think this is a slim little surfer billfold. It's definitely more of a cargo pants pocket type of wallet.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Maxpedition C.M.C. Wallet: Does this wallet have ZIPPED bank note / bill compartment? Thank you!**
A: No it does not. There is however a divided bill are for different currencies lets say. One are is open like a normal wallet and the second area is somewhat like a pocket. For a better understanding, see the pictures on Maxpedition site: http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/CMC-Wallet-p1728.htm

**Q: What is the weight of maxpedition c.m.c. wallet?**
A: Not exactly sure of the weight. I dont really notice it in my pocket like i did a leather wallet. There is plenty of room for everything u can carry. Its a great wallet.

**Q: Is the outside zipper on the wallet you received folded over at one end, leaving a gap?**
A: The Zipper you are seeing at the end of the Wallet is a small compartment closure which does not affect the Tri-Fold design. I don't particularly care for this wallet.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looking to change up your style of wallet?
*by Y***A on September 12, 2020*

You can tell right a way this wallet was made to last. Does not feel cheap. Right materials and quality to last you years of service. I’m used to the traditional leather bifold wallets for years. But, I was looking for a different way to carry money and my cards. This is a great choice so far. I’m liking this style of wallets. I even ordered the “spartan” wallet just to have in reserve. I’m even gonna order the “Maxpedtion Micro” wallet for my 10 year old son. He’s gonna like it. For anyone looking to change the style of carrying money this isn’t a bad choice. It does take some time to get used to the Velcro on it but that’s nothing major. It’s a Great choice. Oh, almost forgot and this wallet will even hold all your spear change.
