The basement door actually chipped the wall. So frustrating when you have freshly painted walls and they are marked up or ruined in two weeks time. I found these adhesive rubber door shields on Amazon and ordered them first in gray. They arrived and within one minute I had the package opened and one door shield installed. It was that easy. No difficult directions. No applying the adhesive first. Just peel, press and stick. I have had them on the wall now for weeks and they have not fallen off or moved from the spot that I originally installed them. The first set I got was gray to match my gray walls. The second set I ordered was white so I could attach a shield to my white shiplap to keep the door handle from marking it and causing a dent in the wood. Worked like a charm!
