They arrived just a few days ago, and I LOVE them. In the short time that I've had them, I've received numerous compliments on them, ranging from "Cute boots!" to "OH my GOD. WHERE did you get those BOOTS?" These boots required no breaking-in - they were comfy straight out of the box, and I've worn them at length every day since they arrived. Their size is mostly true - the 8.5 fits my size 8.5 feet very comfortably, although the toe is a touch long. They are narrow-ish, but that is not an issue for me. I am also certain that their soft leather will stretch with time. Personally, I am really looking forward to getting a little wear on them. I think they are going to look rad when the gold sheen wears off in just the right places. I also plan to replace the laces with a pair that matches the darker brown of the boot. That said, they are just awesome as is, and I feel like Joan-Jett-meets-Ziggy-Stardust every time I put them on.
