## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do the slats open when this is on?**
A: I bought this model as it is supposed to have a timer and opening shutters hence the model is 880TS but twice they sent the model with fan only  (which is 880T- a much cheaper and inferior model). There are no closing shutters on the model they sent and the fan is always open so draughty. I eventually sourced the correct model locally after making a few phone calls. I didn't want to take a chance on having to return a third time.

**Q: does this unit have an on off pull cord?**
A: No, it is a four wire hook up so turned on or off by light switch and or isolator switch.

**Q: Can you tell me how deep this fan is? As in, how long is the tube at the back. Thanks.**
A: Not sure as ours has now been mounted in our wall. I think it is only 2 or 3 cm deep. You will definitely need a tube to bridge a cavity wall.

**Q: Do the stats open fully. Mine open only slightly**
A: The slats should open completely - that is they rotate through 90 degrees after about a minute of switching on.  If they don't, the fan can not move any air.  There is a slider on the side of the slats which can get stuck at its end.  So take the fan out and check this slider for free movement and fidget / bend things accordingly.  When the slats all fall out you are allowed to use bad language.

Good unit, but as someone mentioned in a previous feedback that the slats should be taped during installation to stop them all falling out. Unfortunately I forgot to mention this to the guy fitting the unit, so they all fell out, so a good tip...tape them in place before fitting.
