However, as I was doing my research, it became clear to me that 1) I didn't need 'the best' stuff for my current car, and 2) I couldn't afford 'the best' any longer. So, I began looking for stuff in 50watts x 4 channel range that WASN'T Fosgate :(I stumbled upon this amp, and saw glowing reviews from the few people that own it. It looked nice, fit my power range, and mostly importantly, fit my budget. So, why not!? I went ahead and ordered it. And guess what?! It sounds great!!! Absolutely zero hiss or noise, no popping, no heat, and perfect sound reproduction! A buddy later offered me a 4-channel Fosgate amp that he no longer needed, but I declined because I am completely satisfied with my Audiobahn.My only complaint, and it is minor, is that the built-in fan is (barely) audible when the music and car aren't on. That doesn't happen too often, so I'm not sure it's really a complaint. Easy to use. Compact. The flexible attachment between the part that plugs in and the control part is useful. One of my cars is a standard and if I couldn’t move the controls, I would bump it when I shift. You can hear every little detail in any of my music ...rap, rock, alternative, heavy metal..with absolute clarity!....I was worried that the crazy bass my sub produces might drown out the highs ...boy was I wrong...after abt a month my system sounds even better...speakers are breaking in an my new 4 channel Audiobahn A4004J is pushing these speakers with ease...no distortion...no overheating...and it looks beautiful!
