When it arrived, not only was the glass completely shattered, but the wooden frame was broken too. (That took some doing because I tried to break the joint from a piece that was already broken off, and I couldn't do it with my hands.) I contacted the company explaining the problem and they sent me a new one right away at no cost. It arrived quickly, and in perfect condition. I can tell you it is made with real wood because I could see it because it was broken. The hardest part was folding the flag, but it was designed well so it wasn't much of a problem getting the flag in the case. They give you instructions on how to mount your medals, but I didn't need them since I was putting in a certificate only. They give you a piece of foam padding so the certificate stays in place.
